Two leopard cubs captured in Beerwah And A Leopard caught in Pampore by wildlife team

Srinagar June 8,2021:  Wildlife officials on Monday evening captured two leopard cubs in Poonch-Gund village of Beerwah in central Kashmir’s Budgam district.

Officials warned that the mother leopard might not be far away and warned to remain vigilant and careful.

“Two Leopard cubs were captured at Poonch-Gund, Beerwah this evening and shifted to safe location by wildlife deptt. personnel.

The (mother) leopardess may be around. General public be careful, ” Tehsildar Beerwah tweeted last evening.

The Wildlife Department in Pampore on Tuesday morning caught a leopard alive in Munpora Wuyan area of Pamoore  in Pulwama district.
Official told that after getting information about the wild animal straying near residential area ,a team of wildlife department officials captured the leopard alive without any injury to anyone.
