A family in Meerut lost two brothers — twins, to post-Covid complications. Parents lamented their demise as their elder son has also tested positive for Covid.

Born three minutes apart, the two brothers, Joefred Varghese Gregory and Ralfred George Gregory, died within hours of each other.

The twins, both engineers, tested positive for the virus a day after they turned 24 on April 23. The Gregorys’ third son, who is the eldest, has also tested positive for Covid-19.
The twins were admitted to Anand Hospital on May 1 and tested negative for the virus on May 10.
The brothers were working from home in Meerut. The parents said even though the twins recovered from Covid-19, the infection had spread to their lungs and worsened their condition.
